RESIDENT

CHARITY SHOPS

Although there is a small number of charity shops here, such as the Humana Chain and Boto d'Or in Roses, there is nothing like the range found in some other countries. There are various respositeries for books, toys and other commern cast-offes of the post-christmes clean up.
Many churches accept donations of everuthing from music to baking pans ,which they then redistaibute as they see fit.

The international organisation Emaús,started in France over 50 years ago, helps people with problems related to social integration.

There are several branches of Emaus in Spain, which accept donations of books, clothes, furniture and other household goods.
People are invited to bring the old things and browse arounde for "new" items. But should you go strictly to give, rather than swap, that's fine too.
